Blowerproof proves a winner with the trade

Since introducing Blowerproof to the UK we’ve had some great feedback from the trade, builders, plumbers, carpenters all blown away by how simple and effective Blowerproof is at sealing cracks and gaps. We had such a good response we decided to run a competition on Facebook called ‘Show Us Your Crack‘, all you have to do is send us your pictures of cracks in buildings that leak energy to win FREE 5Kg tubs of Blowerproof worth £50

Why Blowerproof?: Blowerproof  has been awarded BBA certification for how it creates air-tight seals like no other – paint it on and wash your brush out with water.

It’s fascinating how many people don’t realise that airtightness is a dominant factor affecting a building’s energy performance. Even the tiniest of gaps in doors and windows can cause significant heat loss and, once a building is constructed, any builder worth their salt will tell you how stemming unwanted air flow can prove very tricky and expensive.

Blowerproof Liquid air-tight membrane is a quick, easy and cost-effective way to ensure outstanding air-tightness. Applied as a blue fibre reinforced ‘paint’, once dry, it turns black. Alternatively, Blowerproof is also available in white – so it won’t show through a plaster finish.

The reason Blowerproof is so effective is it’s just so simple – apply with a brush, and once it’s on, it’s a permanent, secure and continuous air-tight seal. It can be used on anything from walls and floors, to pipe connections.

Blowerproof is certified by the BBA (British Board of Agrément) and has received an approval inspection testing certificate, and is certified as being both a safe and reliable way for the construction industry to improve the thermal efficiency of any building, it’s no wonder that Blowerproof is proving a winner with the trade.

This BBA certification is recognised throughout the construction industry as a mark of quality, safety and reliability and that a product is fit for purpose. Only products and systems that have passed a series of comprehensive assessments – including laboratory tests, on-site evaluations, quality management checks and inspections of production – are awarded a BBA Certificate.

If you’d like to try out Blowerproof for free or just join in with a bit of fun to celebrate the UK launch why not enter our competition on Facebook? Just ‘like’ and post a picture of your worst and leakiest crack or hole using #ShowUsYourCrack – keep it clean please, it’s a family show!

We’re interested in anything that’s leaking air where it shouldn’t from a building. If there’s a mighty sealing job to be done, Blowerproof’s Facebook page wants to see it and you get the chance to win one of three 5kg tubs of Blowerproof Liquid Brush worth £50 to thank you for your trouble. There are also 10, runner-up prizes of Blowerproof Liquid Brush 300g cartridges to be won.

We have seen some bad jobs over the years – a kitchen waste pipe was letting in a stiff breeze at 14mph in a new build – but I bet your holes are worse!

If you’ve used Blowerproof, please leave a review letting us know how you got on with it! Even better, post a video of you using Blowerproof Liquid to our Facebook page and we’ll send you a free, 1kg tub of Blowerproof Liquid.
