Description

Blowerproof Liquid is a VOC free, water-based, flexible, polymer providing a unique and sustainable solution for the production of airtight building connections in both new build and retrofit.

The water-based polymer is roller or spray applied to create an uninterrupted air and vapour-tight seal on large surface areas including blockwork, brick, concrete, masonry and can be applied directly to insulation materials. Blowerproof Liquid also seals around penetrations, and for floor/wall connections, wall/ceiling joints, and roof connections. Blowerproof Liquid is BBA certified for use with ‘dot &dab’ plaster applications and can be directly plastered onto.

Blowerproof liquid creates a seamless, continuous air and vapour -tight seal over cracks and gaps. Because the seal perfectly follows the contours of the substrate and in combination with the high flexibility and superior adhesion, the connections remain airtight over the long term. Blowerproof liquid is the fast, flexible and durable solution for all airtight connections.

Blowerproof Liquid comes in a re-sealable 10kg tub. Allow up to 1kg per square metre on highly porous surfaces for non-porous surfaces allow 750 grams per square metre. Also available as Blowerproof Liquid Brush a fibre reinforced version for hand application around connections and penetrations.

Although suitable for self-application using the correct equipment (airless spray or roller) we always recommend an approved applicator for a warrantied install, for larger projects or Passive standard applications, please contact us for technical support or for a quote.
